I support individuals to grow. And I know associations, having spent 7 years as Membership Director of the Design Business Association and training and coaching for members of the AAE community. I use my experience to work with association professionals and their communities.

I’m a qualified coach with an Associate Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation. I work to their code of ethics and competencies and maintain my CPD in line with their requirements.

Case Study: Personal Professional Development Programme in action
Brief:
In July 2020 I was approached by an Association to deliver a bespoke suite of workshops and two coaching programmes to their volunteers. The aims were to create a programme that would be an excellent induction for volunteers. To maximise the value of their contribution to the Association. And to support their volunteers to develop new skills that would enhance their career.

Response:
Training Workshops: The workshops were bespoke, developed in partnership with the Association. An initial brief was shared containing salient information on the background to the training and some specific areas that it would be desirable to address. Themes covered included Chairing Meetings, Presentations, Public Speaking, Mentoring, Communicating for Impact and Effective Influence and Persuasion.

Coaching Programmes
Two programmes of one-to-one coaching were developed, one on Time Management and the other on Leadership.
Feedback:

• The training sessions saw 47 attendees across 9 sessions. They rated them as follows:
• 75% rated workshops as Excellent and 25% as Good
• 75% rated speaker as Excellent and 25% as Good
