Tampere Hall is Finland’s first carbon-neutral congress and concert center. We want to promote sustainable consumption, curb climate change and be at the forefront of green actions in our industry. In 2019, the Tampere Hall became a carbon-neutral property, which together with the Courtyard by Marriott Tampere City Hotel forms a carbon-neutral block.

New, Better and Different
We have been issued the new Nordic Ecolabel license in June 2022 as the first congress center in Finland. As a Ecolabeled congress center, we must meet strict environmental requirements and invest in environmental work holistically in terms of energy, water, food, waste, chemicals and procurement.
Obtaining and using the mark requires e.g. efficient use of water, serving sustainable food, the use of eco-labeled products and services, and the training and commitment of workers.
Relevant Sector Expertise
Over the years we have hosted various scientific conferences and congresses together with the University of Tampere, which is one of the most multidisciplinary universities in Finland. Almost all internationally recognised fileds of study are represented at the University of Tampere, which bring together research and education in technology, health and society.

.The building’s versatile facilities are suitable for large congresses, with several parallel lecture and group work spaces. The exhibition spaces are suitable for spacious and bright foyers, and the versatile Park Hall is suitable for the needs of a larger exhibition – or for a festive congress dinner.
The location of the Tampere Hall in the middle of the city means short transitions from one service to another. There are several hotels in the nearby. The in-house technical staff and up-to-date technology ensure that the event runs smoothly.
Tampere is a lively and vibrant international congress city, where the developing services and infrastructure of a large city combine with the atmosphere of a small town. Tampere is a safe, human-sized congress city, where services are located close to each other. Tampere Hall is located only couple steps away from Tampere railway and bus stations, all the services from accommodation to shops are withing a walking distance. Tampere is only 1,5 hours away from Helsinki by train or car. Tampere's local airport with several European direct flights is only 15min away by car.
