European Geosciences Union
European Geoscience Union (EGU) General Assembly
The EGU has held its General Assembly at the ACV since 2004 and renewed the contract until 2019. The key factors behind this decision were the level of flexibility offered by the ACV and the high performance Wifi. To keep up with the steady increase in poster presentations (9,583 in 2014), new formats have been developed with our partners, including PICO (Presenting Interactive Content).
St.Gallen Oncology Conferences
15th St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference
The ACV successfully bid to host the 14th St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference in 2015, after the conference outgrew its original location St. Gallen (CH). In 2017 the conference will return to the ACV after a successful first run 2 years before. With this conference the Austria Center hosted one of the most important international knowledge platforms in oncology, which ended with the longest-lasting and most important breast cancer consensus meeting worldwide.
